In order to investigate the change of effects of oriental prescription over a time, the liquid extract of Injinhotang was adminstered to the TAA intoxicated rats.
The obtained results were as follow :
1. It had a few change in the pH and Specific Gravity of liquid extracts.
2. In case of Serum GOT, GPT and ALP, LDH activated changes, it was revealed to be significant during the first 10 days, but from 13th day and on did not show any significant values.
The liquid extract of Injinhotang degenerates as time passes just as all foods do by the environmental factors, such as microorganism, enzyme, light and the air.
Nowadays, as liquid extracts are kept in bottles and retort-pauch for long-time preservation, some datum point from 13th days.
In the above results, keep up the natural and curative effects, we recommend that 10 days or longer should be avoided.
